1. What is a podcast?
A podcast is a piece of audio, usually in mp3 format, that is downloaded to your computer.
2. Do I need an mp3 player?
You do not need a portable mp3 player (like an iPod) to listen to podcasts. You do need some program on your computer that plays audio, a podcast aggregator, and an internet connection.
3. Does it cost anything?
Nope, the Our Ocean World podcast is free, as are most podcasts and most podcast aggregators.
4. How do I get it?
Follow these 3 easy steps.
-Get a podcast aggregator. If you already have iTunes, you're all set. You can also get iPodder, or subscribe to Odeo's free web-based service. There are many out there, these are just a few examples.
-Find the Subscribe function in your aggregator. In iTunes, for example, it is under the Advanced menu.
-Type http://feeds.feedburner.com/oceanworld and hit Enter (or click OK).
If you ARE using iTunes, click on the logo for one-click subscription!
5. I followed your instructions but still have problems. What now?
We at Our Ocean World don't know everything, but chances are we can answer your question. Send us an email and we'll see what we can do.
